Nitty Gritty of the Restore Method

Feeling a sense of safety in your body doesn't mean you're in an un-safe environment or that stress has disappeared from your life, altogether.


It simply means you are not in a chronic state of evaluation any longer, nor are you overcome with the emotions of shame and blame to the point of outburst or shutdown.


It means you have made the conscious choice to address your subconscious thoughts and beliefs in order to embrace the generous present moment and show your heart to the world.


The Restore Method kicks off with the Body and aims to show you what happens to your body when it doesn't feel safe in its environment. It is a self-awareness journey with plenty of embodiment and regulation practices to investigate and challenge the validity of our unconscious thoughts that create the predictable (and often unhealthy, unhelpful) ways of dealing with stress.


Once you find the best way to regulate your body out of the discomfort of the survival states you go into most often, realise where your stress derives from and how its predictable patterns show up in your life, you will begin to change your thoughts... and that begins to imprint new message on your Energy.


In the Energy section, you'll gain insight as to how your Autonomic Nervous System influences our energy circuits and how, through our thoughts and feelings alone you influence our body's electromagnetic field and create a unique signature in the world. The Energy section also sheds light on intuition and its impact on the nervous system, polarity flow and how reverse and/or homolateral flow shows up, and why.


The Breath guide is a simple go-to guide for the best breaths to take, and when. It matches breaths to specific moods and situations and discusses reverse breathing, how to check for it and how to correct it. It also shares information on Heart Rate Variability and how it influences our resilience to stress, what to cues to listen for in the voice, seeing as the breath carries it, and more.


The Guided Awareness section delves into the importance of understanding the nature of children's brainwaves and how the imprinting they receive from a young age can impact them for life. The scripts are written in such a way as to encourage the listener to embody the sensations and feelings in the stories because when our brains match a positive thought with an elevated feeling, we create a powerful magnetic signature.


The Creativity Guide is a complete sessions guide for anyone who would like to use the content for kids' workshops, at home, homeschooling groups, in 1:1 therapeutic sessions or private and/or group sessions. It has myriad practices, exercises, creative activities and colourful hand-outs to offer attendees. It also includes a template for adult sessions should you choose to share The Restore Method your own in the form of relaxation sessions.
